Vintage Timely Shower Curtain Hooks
Produced by the Timely Novelty Company in New York,
this is a box of shower curtain hooks. The front strip
across the hole in the box is torn but rest of box in
good shape.
The box came with a dozen shower curtain hooks and
although it is full, I cannot determine of all of the dozen
are there without opening and taking out of box. I decided
not to try that, given the age and fragility of the box.
The shower hooks are dirty and the metal parts appear
slightly rusted but in fairly good shape considering age.
I cannot find any information at all on the product online.

This is a pre-zipcode era product as evidenced
by the how-to instructions inside, which list an
address of Chicago 39, Illinois
New coiled solder metal in box. The box is green
and black with white writing and is in very good shape.

Box and bottle with hair color bath still inside. It even
has the original instruction sheet when product was sold.
This is the creme formula 48, Sable Brown Clairol Hair
Color Bath and is copyright, 1961, Stamford, Conn.

In green and black box, this grafting wax was manufactured
by Walter E. cleark and Son in Orange, Conn.
Box is in great shape for it’s age. No tears, just scuffs.

Vintage Langlois Lavender Talc
In beige cardboard box container, showing it’s age but alltogether
with no leakage of talc inside. Mostly just peeling at corners
and some staining, cameo picture still clear and title clear.
Not new but probably about 3/4 full of talc. Amazingly, still
has slight, fresh scent.

This powdered soap came packaged in four envelopes
and contained borax iodide and bran. It’s box reads:

I’ve seen some from the early 30’s and they
look different so I’m guessing this one to be
from 1940’s or 1950’s before zipcodes.
All four envelopes are present, box is shwoing it’s
age but has no tears and closes as it’s meant to close.
