Vintage Edna Vierra
Retro art from Edna Vierra, a popular artist who painted whimsical animals from late 50’s to early 60’s.
Edna Vierra pioneered the use of fabrics and paper in collage on her paintings and used palette knife painting to create her cute creations, often glued to wood plaques though also sold as prints.
This is a plaque featuring an Edna Vierra tiger.
It was printed in 1969 by the Donald Art Company. The wood is scuffed in places but the tiger looks great. Size is about 11 1/2″ x 13″.
