Vintage or near-vintage Dianne Dengel Litho Clown
I have six delightful and unique Dianne Dengel lithos, all in those cheap plastic frames from back in the 60’s. I do not know the exact dates of these lithos, maybe older than 60’s?, but am assuming they are vintage or at least near-vintage.
Dianne Dengel certainly has an unusual painting style. She paints these incredibly personality-rich pictures of children with balled up pieces of paper and with her fingers instead of using paint brushes.
This litho features a clown who looks as surprised as anyone that his little dog is about to be carried away by the balloon tied to it’s tail. A little kitten watches excitedly. Vivid colors, and just so adorable. Litho is 8″ x 16″ including the frame.
Small scuffed place at bottom left corner, does not impact picture whatsoever.
