Vintage or near-vintage Dianne Dengel Baby Girl
I came across some Dianne Dengel lithos in those cheap plastic frames from back in the 60’s. I do not know the dates of these lithos but am assuming they are vintage or at least near-vintage.
I have six and just love them. I had not heard of Dianne’s work but when I read that she paints with her fingers and little balled up pieces of paper, I loved them even more.
Dianne also makes these delicious one-of-a-kind dolls. Haven’t come across any of those though.
This one is a baby girl, combing her own hair with childish glee while looking at herself in the mirror. These are about 8″ x 16″ including the frame.
